Thanks.

Engine temps usually around 100 to 120 max. I usually let it cool down when it hits 120ish.
Transmission temps around 100 to 115 max.

The car does tend to overheat if you keep pushing hard as you need a lot of power/torque to get up the steep dunes but its managable.
Are those temperatures in Centigrade-C or F ? Just checking ..

Did this in Dubai in a Land Cruiser, I wasn’t driving but man was it fun as shit. Crazy how large and steep the dunes can get!

Awesome! I have UAE envy now…
We have dunes like that in the US. I know about Glamis and I believe there is another area with massive dunes closer to the east coast.

You have to keep that speed high going up those dunes, especially once you turn on them. It wouldn't have taken much for themn to tumble down. The broncos did great!

Thats right, you need to maintain speed and keep the torque high to maintain enough traction. The sand is very soft out here and it can be very dangerous at times.

When switching over to the other side of the dune, the right approach angle is very important so that weight transfer is done in a smooth consistent way. The skid plates are really necessary and do a good job of balancing the forces as we move over the sharp crests.

Talking about tumbling down, we did indeed have one incident not too long ago unfortunately. Thank God the driver was okay and uninjured.
