Very important if you're going for a cheaper compressor, just because it's running this time when you use it, after over heating and cooling it down a couple of times is when they fail; way too much expansion and contraction and wear & tear from how hot they can get.It seems a little on the slow side you would probably only be able to fill two tires at a time before letting it cool if you don’t mind the extra time.
Find out the duty rating of the unit, if it doesn't have a duty rating, it's probably too light duty for them to advertise and it's good for topping off a car tire, but not airing up 33" or bigger tires. Better high output units have about a 40 min on and 20 min rest duty cycle. A really good unit will have a 100% duty cycle, but be a little slower than a higher output unit that needs to rest 20 mins, on 40 mins, or so.
