FP but it did rust and flake off the paint in under 1 year….

Well that stinks. I have not had that issue so far at roughly 2.5 years. Meanwhile magnaflow doin its best to turn orange on all the pipes. Are you in a high salt area (snow)?

Oh yea ! Brine too however I do clean the underside pretty regular. I know another that had same issue

There's a guy whose handle is carbon ? something did a good write up on the FP. Search for it in broncos 6G
I'm guessing you're referring to @CarbonSteel? He's very knowledgeable on most things lubricant related.

OP, Banks has a series videos on rear differential covers explaining their roll in lubrication and cooling. These won't answer your FP or ARB question, but I found them interesting. Here is one of them...

I used the FP diff cover. Works okay so far, use the OEM brake posts no problem. Also take the magnetic drain plug from the OEM covered and added to the FP cover so now you have two magnetic plugs. There's a guy whose handle is carbon ? something did a good write up on the FP. Search for it in broncos 6G
I am a little confused. I am pretty sure the OEM cover does not have a drain plug. Are you referring to the OEM fill plug to move to the FP cover?

The Banks cover is an interesting design - e.g., ram air cooling, integrated o-ring, etc. I enquired about it for a Bronco and they have no plans - likely due to the ram air portion of the cover hanging lower and would be a disaster off road.
