Picked up a picatinny rail and drilled the center hole to 1/4 inch. I had a RAM mount ball that I attached. On the other end I drilled a slightly undersized hole and tapped it to 1/4 x 20. I removed the two "teeth" on each side of the hole. This allowed the tripod adapter it sit flush on the rail. I Loctited the adapter to the rail. It's a "working man's" bring your own device mount. Oh, I dropped two flat washers between the seat and the console. Anyone know of an easy way to remove these without removing the seat. They are not visible looking down and I tried scraping them out with a hacksaw blade but I know they are still under there.
