I love this!
Reminds me that I need to clean out the garage as the Bronco will take up more space than my current Mustang.

I have to come up with a plan for the roof too.

You still might if you have chronic back issues after doing a lot of stupid military shit.
true. I'm curious to see if my 5'1" wife will be able to remove her own doors on the Bronco. I know there is no way she could on my wrangler with how heavy they are and the jeep being lifted.

I plan on having two identical Bronco's. One with the doors and roof always on. The second with the roof and doors always off. I will sell the roof and doors of this one immediately upon taking possession. This way there is no storage issue.

My wife is pretty tough, but she's that size too and I don't want her attempting to take the doors off of my Squatched Bronco even if they are lighter. Also, if I end up going 4-door, that scissor cart will speed up the removal and installation process with some simple modifications.

I love these in theory, but are door hinges designed to continously support the weight this way? I imagine the added support of the latch on the handle side helps prevent sag. Could this have long term effects on fit?
Just a thought

Good point. My wife is getting a 4dr badsquatch and even though it'll be "her's" let's be real here, I care for her vehicles better than she does so maybe I should take precautions when the time comes.

On my jeep doors, I actually have the door latch mounted to the wall as well, so they're supported by the 2 door pins and the latch which is how they hang in the jeep. The bigger problem at least with older jeeps is hanging them from the actual window frame which causes cracking of welds down where the frame meets the window seal.

I usually have all 4 of my doors hung on the wall from about April to October each year...haven't had any structural problems with them in 6 years.

Just came up with this door cart a couple days ago because I felt like I was playing Russian roulette with my paint job every time I took them off. Its very sturdy and easy to push around. I put a couple things on there the jeep guys didn't think about. The ratchet straps are screwed directly to the top 2x4 (the hooks have been removed), so the doors can be held secure without having the metal parts rubbing on the paint. I also cut a grove in the outer 2x4s to hold the rear doors on better. The front doors go on first, paint facing toward the center, then the back doors go on plastic to plastic with the paint facing out.
