I'm interested in another netting solution. Netting allows various sizes of contents and also helps keep contents from rattling when vehicles in motion, and when not in use does not protrude into the passenger space.

Yet I have not seen a single netting solution, every aftermarket replacement is rigid. I think this is an oversight of the aftermarket.

Every time I look up the netting part number at Ford, they want some absurd amount.

Anyone seen a replacement netting solution that does not involve sending Ford $800 bucks or whatever it is?
100% what crenca said! I want new netting.

I'll second the Bartact bags. Bought mine nearly a year ago and they're solid. Plenty of room, don't intrude into the foot area, look sharp. Bought mine because someone else on the board said their pew-pew fit in it. Can confirm a commander length .45 fits nicely - not that I own anything like dat.
I'll third the bartact bags. also have their center console and visor covers.

Those who use these, do you use them for water bottles and sundry other items as well, or just for firearms (& of course knives, ninja stars, brass knuckles... no long guns of course :ROFLMAO:)? They strike me a too narrow for water bottles and what not, but hard to tell from pics on website.

I wonder if there is not a real $opportunity$ for someone to come up with an aftermarket netting solution. If I was not so lazy...

I use the Bartact bags and they are sizeable. Various and sundry items like water bottles, IFAK, flashlights small nuclear warheads all fit. 😁

For those who really like the factory nets, Have you tried posting in the Member Market Place WTB? Seems like with all the other people 'Upgrading', there are probably more than a few of the original nets sitting around unused....

Bartact bags, I like The look of the other solutions but didn’t like resting my leg against metal or hard plastic.

The netting in my door pockets is shot. What else is new.
There are quite a few aftermarket options available.
Has anyone come up with a home brew/home made replacement?
I think I got some rubber ones from IAG or Mabett. Although they probably don't offer as much cargo space as the stretched out net, they do have a cup holder molded in, and the rubber does give a bit. I really like the cupholder. I think I got them during a half off sale for around $25.

I use them for water bottles, e50fire extinguisher, hats, wires sweatshirt, some tire stuff. they are pretty big and can fit quite a bit.

That's cool. I would want to find some more robust netting that worked instead of repairing the OEM, but that might be best long term solution if I don't go with the Bartact bags

I run the Dv8 pocket molle in my Badlands, and now my Braptor. Works well, I use them all the time. I had the half plastic pocket with the nets, and I also have a set of full abs pockets. (Forgot who gave those to me..)

The DV8 works the best for my needs. I also have the seat back DV8 molle as well. The pics below is when I had it on my Badlands. For my Braptor, I have cleaned up the back better and actually have them fully installed with the screws.

Can you still slip things behind them?
