Over the weekend, I experienced a very high engine rev (7k RPM) anytime I downshifted to M1 from M2 when going above 1 mph in 4WD low. Anyone else experience something similar?

M1 in 4-Low is going to be super low, so if you were cruising at say 3,000 RPMs in M2 then downshifted to M1 in 4Low, I would expect a sudden rev match.

Thanks. I would expect some engine rev but it literally went nuts until I stepped on the brake to stop. Appreciate the response!

Yeah, i would avoid down shifting to M1 in 4L unless / until you are practically at a complete stop.
