The Broncos made in China don't have the US flag on the shifter for obvious reasons. The thing I don't understand is why Ford made nicer interiors and squared fender flares for China but not for the home market.

How is it nicer inside? Ugly vent outline and a graphic on the dash?

I agree that the accent colors and the vinyl graphic might not be appealing to everybody, but I would love to have the Alcantara-trimmed seats and wouldn't be against the stitching on the dash and door panels. Even the hard plastic elements have different texture to them – I believe they are more scratch resistant than what we have in our Broncos.

My simple ass had to look up Alcantara, I need the wash out seats... We have mud.... I like the stitching, I thought 2025 had that. You think they use a better plastic in China than here? I do not have a clue on that. I read the nap seats can become flattened and less supple in time, possibly nappy?

My shifter has an image of St. Ernestine, but it only appears when I'm drunk.

The texture and finish of the plastic panels is certainly different. As for the stitching on the doors, none of the Broncos sold here have this feature.

My guess…it’s a cheaper Bronco for Ford to make but the sales price after conversion is about the same as the US. Higher margins probably allow for some concessions in the interior to suit that market. Don’t be too jealous. Their 2.3 supposedly makes about 30 less horsepower and their automatic trans is an 8 speed, not 10.
