I believe the manual shifter has a Communist flag on it, denoting the transmission's COO. My 2022 has the flag.

The Getrag transmission is made in Nanchang China I believe.

There are probably Chinese parts in every Bronco. Even if the part is sourced elsewhere, some components may come from China.

the sasq vanity rings are from china - took mine off last week to paint them and saw china on the inside. was expecting more the electronics from china, not aluminum fabs.

The flag has been there the entire time. my semi-early production '21 has it. I noticed it on day 1.

Now I have to find that old thread that revealed/inquired about uneven gaps between the rear bumper and the body panels -- I've just noticed a larger gap difference on my FRONT bumper and body!

Edit: dang, the flag looks the same. sorry, was the way the light was shining on it. I need another cup of coffee.
