This is probably a stupid question, but I still haven't found them. Searching the forum and the Googles with various versions of "d-ring" and "tie down anchor" has turned up nothing.

Can someone please link me to the factory d-rings that go in the (4-door) interior cargo space? They seem to be a sort of proprietary shape to flip up with those plastic finishing pieces in place.

Do you have a mat in the back? I do, and it originally covered the rings. But the Ford mat also includes markings on the bottom so you can cut & expose the rings.

I do have a mat in the back. The threads for the plates to mount the cargo floor are exposed. I just don't have the hardware to attach there.

Here are the tie downs. They are not too bad price wise. I am sure Leviton or Ruxters has them cheaper.

Search Catalog Results for parts.ford.com

Hope you do not need the load floor. It is 400-600 for the carpet one and 600-700 for the vinyl one.

This thread seems like as good a place as any to get an answer:

Iā€™m looking for longer bolts threaded the same as the ones for the tie downs. I went to Lowes and got them sized as M8, but the M8 bolt I bought isnā€™t fitting. It seems almost like the threading is different?

can anyone advise? I need an extra 0.5-0.75ā€ of length for the bolt to hold a sheet of plywood down

thanks

There are usually 2 different styles of thread for each bolt size - a coarse thread and a fine thread.

m8-1.25 (coarse) vs m8-1.0 (fine)

You probably just need the other thread pitch - Bronco bolts and most others are m8-1.25, but that isn't a universal given.

Sounds like you probably got the correct bolt size but the wrong pitch thread. Coarse is 1.25, fine is 1. Take one of your old bolts with you to compare.

Thats super helpful. Thanks guys. Thatā€™s gotta be exactly the issue.
