First Edition Bronco Thread

Just curious. Do any of you have any idea how the dealership’s brokerage sales of the Bronco for reservation holders works? How does it work and what is the dealership’s cut off the sale?

I’m still planning on keeping my FE, but if there is something in MY22 that I want more, I’d consider selling it.

Do the FE come with the Cargo floor mat? It doesn't show it as an option, just front and rear. Where as with like an OBX, you can specifically select the cargo liner

You want to have your dealer sell your bronco and just take some cash from the sale?

I haven’t seen that, curious though. The one guy is selling his on eBay. He said it should come in a few weeks, hahaha he was mistaken. I’m going to sell mine but I won’t let my dealer know that. I don’t need them thinking they can throw adm in last min. What’s to stop them from cutting you out of the deal and selling directly to the buyer and they keep all the profits.

I’ll see if I can find that thread. At the time I read it, I didn’t think I’d ever sell it. However, being so close to MY22 and having a 99’d 7/14 12:30 AM CT reservation to fall back on, I thought I should at least do a little research.

Just be careful some dealers are pieces of shit. Probably would be best to take delivery and sell it from that point. That’s what I’m doing.

Spent the last 2 hrs sifting through updates today but no one asked about the MOD top.

With the new MIC in the future, why no talks of a MOD top. I would jump for a MOD top on my FE in a heartbeat.

I’m pretty certain they announced a few months ago that MOD and color matched tops are bumped to ‘23 MY.

Yes and they stated that again in the Live chat...

I also do not remember ever seeing First Editions would come first or even be a priority build...time stamp / config availability. I went back through every email received from Ford and nothing about FE priority. I think the name First Edition implies they would be out first but maybe I just read into it what I wanted to hear? I was hoping they would ask on the live chat what does First in First Edition actually mean!

Also, I made a sheet with all the coms from ford to ensure my MSRP is correct (2 reductions) when I pick up the vehicle. This might help some of you also:

Called my dealer yesterday and brought up the fact my seats were Navy Pier but I had requested Black Onyx. Dealer called Ford and got it changed.

Until it shows up on the lot dealer will salivate at the chance of selling it above msrp

Early on reservation it showed FE to have exclusive interior and to be preshipped prior to other orders. The day was April, 2021 while the rest of the Bronco line was to ship in June. Again, this was what was written when we submitted reservation.

Idk about any of you, but I've been built sitting in the lot for a while now (July 20th production date) and not had a hint of Bronco merch sent my way. No stickers, posters, etc. Just give me a Bronco tumbler or something and I promise not to whine.
