Badlands has always been my back-up and before Ford said we could change our model on FEs, I had a second reservation for a Badlands in my back pocket. Once Build and Price comes out I will make a decision. I know many like the FE "exclusivity (somewhat diminished when Ford doubled the quantity), to me it has always been about getting all the goodies I want in one package. If it is not a good deal and I am forced into an interior I don't like, I will have a Badlands in my garage. If the deal looks good and the Ford "listened", then the FE will be parked there.

Same here. I want to ask my dealer to let me order both AS I WANT (Orange FE and Orange BL with 2.3T/7M) and wait until both arrive and I pick which one I want and they get the other as dealer stock.

The exterior color limitations are curious. Since I can’t explain why Ford would limit choice to four non-unique colors; all of which are available on other trim levels, I’d like to think that it implies trim-specific coordination with some other feature, stitching perhaps? Brake calipers? Can anyone think of anything else? At the end of the day, I favor exclusivity/uniqueness (in a fully loaded Bronco) over loaded-ness alone.

I wonder if It has to do with coordinating suppliers / materials for the additional options. Perhaps supply can't be guaranteed for all options when they begin production.

But I agree, for something that is supposed to be the pinnacle of Bronco there should be something more exclusive than some decals and almost all the options box pre-selected. But seriously...why does the base have more color options than the top of the line?!

Who else is going to be tweeting Ford CEO and others involved in the Bronco line about this? This vehicle could be a big boost for the company...lets hope they don't fall flat by not thinking through what int/ext color combos actually are appealing and actually match (e.g. Cactus grey with navy blue? C'mon!)

I'm glad I read through the forum...I'm starting to wonder if the FE is worth the hype and price at this point.

Has anyone discussed why dual zone climate control is listed as an option for the FE on ford.com yet it is supposed to come with the mid package? Am I missing something?

Yeah, between that and some of the information in seats, I think there’s at least one crossed wire. Likely a cop/paste error that didn’t get caught.

Plenty of spots still state the edition size of 3500, even though that should have been any easy editing fix.

Fully Loaded Badlands, for same price, can have my money.

Not to mention getting xplan on a badlands is probably an easier bet than getting it on the FE

Yeah, no official word if Ford will allow A/Z/X Plan on the FE's. That's a MAJOR factor.

I saw this video too. It looks awful. I was actually open to navy, but this looks like ?. And it doesn’t even come close to matching/complimenting the 4 color options. WTF?!?!?
