The exterior color limitations are curious. Since I can’t explain why Ford would limit choice to four non-unique colors; all of which are available on other trim levels
I agree. Even the Mach-e First Edition has a FE only Grabber Blue choice.

Build and price can’t come soon enough. I still believe we will have 3 options.
I'm also still hopefull on choices. If we do get choices I'm guessing they will be Navy Pier leather and Brown/Ebony leather as those are the Outerbanks upgraded interior and the FE is advertised as having the Outerbanks interior. If Ford really wants to do the right thing they will also give us a third option which I'm hoping Marine Vinyl in Dark Space Gray.
Trying to decide between Brown/Ebony Leather and Dark Space Gray Marine Grade would be a tough one for me, but would love the oportunity to do so.

I dont think the following are included in any packages:

  • Trail Control™ for Off-Road (requires 10-speed transmission)
  • Trail Turn Assist (requires 10-speed transmission)
  • Trail One-Pedal Driving (Requires 2.7L Engine)
  • Hard Top Sound Deadening Headliner (requires Hard Top or Dual Tops)
  • Heated Front Seats
  • Keyless-Entry Keypad
  • Dual-Zone Electronic Automatic Temperature Control
First 3 are standard with the auto and V6, heated seats and dual-zone can be had with the ‘mid package.

Yeah, and look how many they still have. Did you see their Instagram post about "getting a second chance at a First Edition"? You'd think they'd learn...

The FE Mach-e is sold out. It filled up soon after we ordered a MME Premium back in July, but they're doing something screwy by offering more FE's in certain situations. I can't explain it, but you're right, there's going to be more available.

I can explain it, Ford wants to make more money. No regard to what they advertise. I think they shouldn't of put a number límit on any First Edition. Just produce for first year and be done with it. At least that would of made the folks happy that didn't get one and not pissed off the folks that thought they were getting a one out of 3500 produced. That’s what I call a Win Win.

Ok, so once again....

Absolutely nothing on the FE cannot be had on the Badlands except the graphics on the outside and the lovely blue interior???? Im not that picky with the color top (grey/black), so if thats another thing, not a huge deal.

Been saying this... yes, you are correct. The Shadow Black modular top is also an option (which is what FE has standard)

Well... that's not even special. Navy Pier is an option for lower trims too. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Literally nothing is special besides the rumored boot-screen being custom for the FE. And even that was just hearsay.

And I assume even the decals are the same from the Badlands trim? Because they mentioned decals too, right?

I'll defer to you. I knew it was one of them. Either way, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'd imagine the aftermarket decals will be better than whatever Ford comes up with anyway.
