I realize we’ll never get a custom vehicle from a company like Ford, so I’ve been able to manage expectations. But the lack of a towing option Is a deal breaker for me. I need to be able to tow trailers and a small camper. Is this limited to an FE problem or are other trims also effected by this?

i understand that thought process.

random question, will the FE have like a step thing (tube step?) to help climb in? was thinking about putting my daughters in their car seats...
I know the Tube step is available on Wildtrak & Big Ben. So it will probably be available on FE, but at a dealer add on.

I hope it’s just a BnP issue and you’ll still be able to order when submitting order with dealer. 🤞

3500 lbs is the max across all trims. It should have a tow option. I don’t think the base has it either though. Sounds like a website glitch.

Likely an error. Even if it's not you can add a hitch, with no issues, for less money than the one Ford is selling.

I wouldn't let that be a deal breaker.

I’ve always had trucks with factory tow packages, so I don’t really remember what comes with a standard package. But doesn’t a factory towing package come with upgraded alternator and battery, wiring, transmission cooling, and maybe more.

Do a search this question has been asked, from what I remember:

upgraded alternator and battery - no
wiring - yes
transmission cooling - no
maybe more - are you kidding?

great find-- i'm sure it's just an error on the B&P, bc i think it shows that u can add tow package on the 2 door

Doesn't look like any of that is going to be included other than wiring. Wiring is like $50 and easy to do. Hitch will be 150 or so and super easy to bolt on.

With only 3500lbs of towing on a motor and transmission that is capable of much more you wouldn't really need much for trans or oil cooling anyway. You can always add those if you'd like as well. With a Trans cooler, hitch, and wiring aftermarket you'll still come in under Ford's price for just the hitch and wiring.

Is there a reason that we can’t get at least 3500 painted black tops? Is it that hard Ford? I feel like there’s a petition coming on.

If you configure a 2 Door FE in the B&P the tow package is available. It is just not available on the 4 Door. I suspect (hoping) this is an error in the B&P.

One more reason on how Ford failed with the First Edition. Something that could of been a true collectors edition is turning out to be the joke in the Bronco lineup. We salute you Ford on the most undesirable FE.
