I have a CG Black Interior 4-door FE reserved. First hour reservation. #2 earliest time stamp at dealer. Dealer has 30 scheduled so far including 4 FE. Dealer said my order got picked up today and to expect an email. Here we are, end of yet another day and still no email for me!

I'm sure it's equally frustrating for all of us (that haven't received build dates), but this is absolute nonsense. Let's see the Ford sympathizers explain this one.

FYI - dealer has been very responsive, invoice pricing, seems to be reasonably knowledgeable, etc.

Don’t know the specifics of the other but mine is 4dr which is, supposedly, less constrained than a 2dr if that is what the other is. Mine does not have tow so, at a minimum, I’m on the same level as the other. So, who the hell knows.
Really sucking the enthusiasm out of the whole thing after 10 freaking months. I know COVID and all the chip and Webasto jazz but those excuses start to run very thin after many months.
color? Have many fe’s besides LB over black interior been scheduled?

. If you are LB and the othet FE is not. Other dealers couldnhave used up the LB’s being scheduled and they moved on to another color and picked up that other FE or vice versa

So now paint color is priority over timestamp? 🤦🏼‍♂️

I heard blood type, odd/even street addresses and alphabetical order of mother’s maiden name are also being used as tiebreakers.

It not that a particular color is a priority it is a logistics problem.
I’d assume they have to run things in batches. I cant imagine its paint one blue, run it down the line. Paint one red, run it down the line. Same with interiors.
It is more than likely they paint 100 lightning blue. Put 200 black interiors on line. Paint 100 red and overlap the commodities/interiors,

So basically if they go through those first 100 before your dealer is picked for allocation they move on to the next buildable.

i am guessing commodity constraints work the same. If they have the commodities they will stock the line.

multiply that by all the various features and parts and you can start to see how complex it geta and how timestamp seems to fall out of play. Even within your dealer.

Because time stamp means nothing like I’ve been trying to tell y’all forever lmao.
Although it may appear that way, I don’t believe that’s necessarily true. When the computer goes down the list looking for a clean build (let’s say there are a hundred total and they can schedule 10) I imagine it will still take the 10 earliest reservation #’s/timestamps.......presuming those 10 are within their respective dealership allocation. At least for my own sanity I choose to believe this is true.

To piggyback on the clean build comment. If you haven't talked to your dealer, and they still have the painted top on your FE...that is 1 reason you haven't been scheduled. Even though we were told painted was not an option, and we had to go MIC. The dealer still needed to (as of a few weeks ago) go in and manually change it to MIC for it to be eligible for scheduling.

I might not be using the right terms but you get the concept.

We've been told a couple of times that they do not in fact batch by color. They can paint one blue, one orange, one white, etc no problem.

So, just when you are seemingly at the end of your rope with all the scheduling drama with the Bronco, find a place to see one in person.

I had forgotten that I'd signed up for a showing at my local dealer today. I went and man am I recharged! The rigs are just so fantastic and well worth all the drama. The two I crawled all over were basic BD 4dr and an OB 4dr with the lux package. Not a squatch to be found but both looked great. BD was velocity blue and the OB was Rapid Red. Both looked very nice.

Got to pull the fender flares off, open/close the soft tops and touch and open anything I felt like.

Both felt very comfortable to sit in (one cloth the other leather) and felt plenty roomy. I'm 5'10" so not a huge guy but the interior felt just fine.

Just can't adequately convey how recharged I feel after getting up close and personal with our dream machines. It will be SOOOO worth the wait when this all shakes out!

Hang in there my Bronco brothers and sisters, we will get there and it will be epic!

I finally heard back from my dealer. He said that he had nothing scheduled this week across all vehicle lines. Not a huge dealer (about 25 allocations for 90+ reservations.) Seems like it was a light week for scheduling all around.

You all might think I am a retard but here it goes lol I thought Ford was building 7k First editions for each bronco style I.e 2 door, sport and 4 door. Got confirmation today that is is 7k total. So my question is does any one know the breakdown. How many 4 door big bronco FEs are bing built?
