Had the springs since the fall and just got them installed last week. Completely stock First Edition. No swapped bumpers, no winch, no added weight in the cargo, stock wheels/tires, etc. Gained 1.75" in the front and 1.25" in the rear. Before front sat 1.5" lower than the rear and after install...
Anyone add the raptor lights and either Baja or Diode amber fogs? Was wondering how close they may be in color and/or with the Diode amber backlights. Any other pics with amber fogs? Thanks
Meant to send a thank you long ago. I followed your lead right after you posted the video and it turned out great. Took me quite a bit longer, but I was super cautious about breaking or scratching anything and trimming the lights was a pain. Great video. Thanks.
Just tried. Bar needs to come off first. Not enough room for the clips on the back of the grill to get past the headlights.
First time to remove the bar and, as mentioned elsewhere, bumper bolts are definitely Torx Plus 40. I had never heard of it and apparently no one else has either as it’s...
FYI - I did pursue replacement FE badges to try out some options if removing didn’t go perfectly, but 2 separate dealers told me they were listed as “obsolete” and not available for purchase. Pretty annoying as someone is going to need a replacement at some point.
Didn’t want to lose the FE badges and together with the retro badges and the FE stickers was just too much going on. Went with the rear and it’s a perfect match.
Not sure how this topic got brought out of retirement after 3 months, but given your Dirt Mountain experience I assume you're being sarcastic that Levine or anyone else was willing to do anything special. I did finally get delivered this week. As far as the impact of the elements, you can see my...
Officially delivered as of the afternoon of 11/9. All is good and hopefully the rest of the Broncos get home soon.
Couple of parting words on DM - given the condition it arrived in (dealer admits these are some of the dirtiest new vehicles they’ve ever received from Ford), I think most of us...
Really hard to believe. Dealer surprised as well. We determined tommy_sup likely shared the same truck to Nashville (different dealer), but also received no shipped notice or indication it was on the way. We’ll never understand this level of ineptitude.
It’s an early Christmas miracle… no shipping notice, no tracker change, never showed on palsapp, but somehow showed up at dealer today. Will share more after pickup tomorrow. It’s almost over…
Another day, another weekend, another month and yet it still sits. 115 days and counting. 7/16 blend, 11/1 Built, and no one knows when it will ship...
Apparently someone heard my whining… of course it didn’t get shipped rather just moved everything out a week. Now ETA of 11/14. What’s another week when it’s sat for 113 days!
Not inconceivable they move things to quiet the storm, but that would be a new level of deceit. Hopefully, just another quirk/mistake in an awful system of bad info.
I assume convoy? What’s your ETA? I definitely prefer a quick trip on a truck and seemingly fewer opportunities for trouble, but does seem to take longer to get out the door.
I went 3 days with no whining, but it’s about time to start up again. Still no word on shipping. How long is it taking convoy vehicles to ship out lately? ETA oddly still at 11/7 with 6 transit days.
One of the old guard has officially been paroled. First hour, first edition reservation, 7/16 build, and nearly in the final 10 left in confinement. ETAs updated yesterday morning and received “built” email at 2:51 AM today. No shipped notice yet, but an oddly aggressive delivery estimate of...
Finally! Nice to see good news for you.
Trying to stay away from this thread to minimize my disgust with Ford. Today made it way worse to see them pumping out the August builds and leaving me untouched for 107 days. Apparently no October for me and yet another failed promise.
