First Edition Bronco Thread

You all might think I am a retard but here it goes lol I though Ford was building 7k First editions for each bronco style I.e 3 door sport and 4 door. Got confirmation today that is is 7k total. So my question is does any one know the breakdown. How many 4 door big bronco FEs are bing built?

Check back in a couple years when those stats get published, until then that’s an impossible question to answer.

FE LB 4 door first day reservation; reservation converted to an order the first day allowed; changed my roof from painted black to MIC top in person with the salesman as instructed by Ford. I’m the only FE order at my dealership.

Having said that, I went to see my salesman today to check on my order & make sure everything was still good to go. When he checked my order, my priority was 99. Previously, it was 10. I have paperwork showing the priory number as 10. I personally know the salesman very well, and my dad used to be the GM at this dealership (I trust everyone here very much). The salesman said he absolutely did not change the priority number and has no idea how it could have been changed. Has this happened to anyone else?

The last time I went to personally see my dealer was the day the orders were supposed to be finalized ( 3-19?) and everything was correct. But you can dang sure bet I'll be checking in Monday after your ordeal.

Based on non-scientific calculations I’m guessing around 5,000 4-doors and 2,000 2-doors. Here is a good video from a good size dealer with a breakdown of the orders.

Good to know. Dealer told me 500 were sold in texas with only 25 from their dealership

Is it possible that your order was configured with the Modular Painted Black top and your dealer never updated it to be an MIC top? I’m thinking the build system may have automatically moved the order to 99 since it’s effectively unbuildable if it’s left with the modular top configured.

I think I got you the 7k number put out by Ford was for the regular bronco not all ?

I remember reading an article where a Ford spokesperson was quoted saying the only FEs being built are the ones that were ordered. So if you changed from a FE to a BL that’s one less FE being built.

I believe that is true, so there will be something less than 7,000 total. Someday we may know more.

I spoke with my local Ford salesman who spoke with the regional Ford rep. The rep admitted he was the one who changed my priority number from 10 to 99 because the rep mis-read that the top was properly changed from the Mod black top to the MIC top option. The rep apologized, said I was #2 in line at my dealership & said I should hear something soon.
The dealership has had 2 orders get VIN numbers which means had my priority number not been changed I could have been given a VIN number by now. Thanks Ford.
