I have a sneaking suspicion that part of this bad news email will that promise being broken.

Possible (probable?) at this point. But being that we’ve still only seen June/July build dates…it would be such a bad look for them if they couldn’t produce the FEs, commodity issues or not. But I recall Gladiator Launch Editions being a cluster as well so .

I would be 100% ok with that. I already had plans to trade into a warthog when they’re released. ADM is up to how shitty your dealer is. Ford discourages it but won’t ever tell them don’t do it at all. My dealer is extremely small and any special model they get they sell for MSRP which I feel is fair.

I talked to my peeps here in Metro Detroit that work at FORD corporate about today’s mass email and they are all in the dark. At this point FORD can just put me down on the list to be one of the first to receive a Bronco Raptor and I would be cool with that as long as it comes in a 2-door

On a sidenote General Motors just announced that several of their automotive plants that were shut down because of lack of computer chips will be reopening end of June, much later than originally thought. I’m guessing FORD is going to make an announcement to us at 2 PM saying that The continuing problem sourcing computer chips will be pushing many orders into 2022.
