Same here - I am thinking about trading someone my FE reservation for a Badlands reservation.
Pretty sure you can't do this since they will know the name on the original $100 payment method will be different if you give your Ford account to someone else.

In North Carolina. The dealer is supposed to confirm with me next week if it can be done. I'll keep you posted on what they say and ask their permission to post their name and contact info.
Please do.. I’m not above a road trip for that! Lol

I have heard from a dealer that Ford sent our communication today that the reservation will be able to go to any dealer of their choosing. So no reason to pay unreasonable markup
That'd be nice. I'm in a market that only has one Ford dealership. There's another about 30 miles away, but it's a smaller operation. I went local because they're much bigger and figured that, should things get weird, they'd be more likely to get my FE than the dealership down the road. That said, I'm fully expecting a mark up. I just sent an email now to try and get assurances about MSRP. We'll see but it sure would be nice to have the threat (not really a threat, they do just fine) of switching dealerships in my quiver.

Please keep us posted. NC isn't far from me being in East TN.

X-Plan on FE would be even better, but I think that will ultimately be up to Ford. If it's eligible, I understand the x-plan price will be on the invoice and be: invoice price - 4% + $275.

FE 2-Door 57,230 - 2,289 + 275 = $55,216 vs. MSRP $59,305 savings of $4,089 off MSRP

FE 4-Door 61,278 - 2,451 + 275 = $59,102 vs MSRP $63,500 savings of $4,398 off MSRP

FWIW I'm no expert on this. The attached sheet says Invoice price with holdbacks, so I'm not sure if that's the correct invoice price to use. But this appears to be the calculation I'm finding on the Web.
It's 0.4% off invoice not 4%.

Thanks, I figured I'd mess it up.

I have two badlands reservations and I want to swap for an FE. Let me know.

I believe but haven't confirmed that Ford won't allow taking over someone else's reservation. Might be trying to stop the selling of FE reservation.

dealer response when I asked about ADM and X plan pricing on my reserved FE:

"Congrats on getting the order in on time to reserve the First Edition – we’ve had a lot of calls this morning from customers asking how they can reserve one now that they show sold out. Ford has not disclosed yet whether there will be X Plan pricing available on the Bronco, but due to the unprecedented demand and the extremely limited production of the First Edition we would not be able to honor an X Plan price on this model even if they had it. We are planning on marking up the First Edition over MSRP, as it will be one of only 3500 made and each dealer will be lucky to get 1 or 2 in total. "
sorry, what is X Plan pricing??

my guess is that they were oversubscribed before they shut it off.

I suspect we'll see "waitlist emails" come along after a few days or even weeks passes to let some early cancellations fall out. there will be apologies, they will keep us on a waitlist if there are cancellations, otherwise everyone will keep their place in line for any other trim of their choice.

Thats my guess anyway. I doubt they expected to sell out in 2 hours.

it *appears* that you can otherwise spec a badlands to be identical to a FE, only unknown is the interior, we know we can add leather to badlands, but still uncertain what interiors there will be.
or they will cover the delta and build more. I have a badlands on reserve just incase.

I hope they won't build more than 3500; that will defeat the purpose and devalue it in a way. They could've done a better job with the server overload on the first night but I don't think they should build more. In addition to having an online tool to change trims and change dealers.

The launch was a mess and the order numbers seem to be out of sync. I hope the die hards get their rigs. I’m hesitant to say the FE will hold any value but if my reservation manages to secure one I hope they do.
