I was searching the flares and came across these pics of a wrapped fender flare. What is the black gasket in the pics and are they still made like this? Or maybe this was a 2022 model and for 2023+ they changed?

That’s not factory. In fact, the body actually indents a bit where the flare meets the panel so that is a user modification.

Yeah, it almost looks like someone added a strip of weatherstripping between the fenders and the body.

I actually like the look of it - Good contrast in colour!

IIRC that was purposely left free of wrap due to the difficulty in removing the flares and known issue with breaking clips and not being able to source them.

Looks like other people are wrapping them without that reveal, not sure if they removed to wrap or the skill level of the installer.
