Yeah - I'm past the mini-baseball bat sized flashlights. Different ideas of EDC I guess, but I have my Surefire E2D Defender and my CRKT HIssatsu Folder with me everywhere - at a minimum
Great options! Olight and Spyderco are my go-to’s

I like this placement, maybe a good spot for an Element fire extinguisher.

That was my original plan, but having it easily accessible from the driver seat in an emergency is a plus

Great bundle. You can run the wire under your seat and pop it out in the center console for easy charging.

You get the maglite AND recharge capability in one.

I prefer flashlights that run on 18650s for easy battery swaps, but this kit is going to work great for an emergency light.

Maglites are still used by police and security because they make great weapons, and break windows nicely. Multi use tools are always a plus.
Streamlight is used by most Law Enforcement. They are rechargeable, and have a variety of sizes. Some departments still use a full size light, and train to use it as an impact weapon.

I carried a Surefire on my duty belt, streamlight on the sidearm and a maglite in the car. About the same as today, really.

At least they are all American Companies. Not really a factor today, but I bought my first Streamlight in 1983, because the mag light bulb blew out if it was dropped. LEDs change that. Surefire makes good stuff, they just seem to be more focused on suppressors and magazines lately.

Yeah. Have you tried Olight? They get a lot of hate, but I’ve been testing one of their weapon lights for a few months and so far no failures. I see a lot of hate for them though for some reason.

I have seen them. Never used one. So I can’t say first hand, but the feed back I see, they don’t hold up long term. I think it’s still the old adage you get what you pay for.
