Foam hard top liners - do they work?

Wondering if anyone has one of the foam liners like what TurnOffroad and Armadillo Designs offer as an add-on. Does it help with sound/temp insulation?

Armadillo's foam liner will only fit the Armadillo top. That said, they report a 20 decibel decrease, less wind noise....Armadillo top buyers report that the top is much quieter. This type of foam should help with some MIN top noise, but, the MIC top has so many sections....it will still be "noisy".
