Folded mirror

While waiting for my Bronco to arrive I’ve had a lot of hypotheticals go through my head. One of those is say you have the mirrors folded in and open the door. I know with them in the unfolded position the glass comes close to contacting them but was wondering what would keep the glass from hitting the mirror when in the folded position?

pretty sure the door would just push them back into the normal position, it's not gonna shatter the window.

That is exactly what happens.

You can fold them all the way towards the front of the Bronco also...
