IIRC TFL's video Friday showed them folded flat along the body and pointed out that in said position they are more narrow then the fenders. I think one of the Bronco Nation videos pointed out that it's safe to push the windows out with the door.

You must have the world's skinniest garage doors if you can't get all 7'2" of Bronco through with the mirrors out.

Wouldnā€™t the window already be down from where you folded them in to enter the garage door... so you could just push them back out as needed? Sounds like the whole scenario would suck though, hopefully they are narrow enough to just save you the trouble.
Itā€™s a reasonable point and I think that will be the plan, though currently I get out to fold both in from the outside, mostly because itā€™s so far to lean all the way over to the passenger side.

Here's another thought - aside from the aforementioned pushing it forward idea......it looks as though the mirror would be above the beltline when folded backward - you might be able to just roll the window down and open the door normally with it folded back. You'd be leaving your windows down in the garage, which for me isn't an issue.

This is what I am HOPING, that the door will clear the mirror with the window down, but as mentioned by a couple folks above, sounds like the door does make contact when swinging out.

Regarding folding them forward, it doesnā€™t look from the videos that it saves you much width, they donā€™t fold flat that direction.

Third world issues. I have to reach out and manually fold my mirros. LOL

No offense meant. Just busting your chops. ;)

Seriously though I'd much rather have to do that then to slap on a set of mirros every time I take the doors off.

Ainā€™t that the truth, no argument there.

How about cutting out an area for the mirrors to fit through... make a steel bracket to connect the jack studs, then put a little rubber flap like a doggy door to seal that area up. šŸ™‚

just tryin to help with alternative ideas... šŸ˜‰

Good question, I never thought of that SY. But, now that I know they'll fold both ways I'm good to go.

From this pic, they almost look even with the flares... so everyone may be ok without any modifications. Reckon there is a dimension for the overall width from mirror to mirror?

Best I could find was 86.2... but it says ā€œbaseā€, so I donā€™t know if that means all of them, or that itā€™s just for the base and they vary.

I could point out hundreds of examples of these by just doing a short drive down my street. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™‚ļø

Yes, that looks to be the case that they line up with the flares. That pic is a great perspective. Mr. Danger always seems to have the answer šŸ‘šŸ»

Now, I guess I should double check the flares will fit šŸ˜‚
