Ford Bronco Slideout Tailgate finally available as an accessory!

This is the best factory option I selected. Makes it really easy to load the dogs and to retrieve heavier items from the rear without overextending the old back.

The flatish sleeping area is great too but no idea why ford didn't go for fold flat seats in the rear.

I really wanted this when I first saw it listed as an option, but it wasn't available on the Badlands. Now that I have read through this discussion, I am less certain at this price point. I love the idea of it, but also cannot think of a reason other than leveling the floor that I would use it. That said, who knows, maybe I will end up with one in a month or so.

Anyone who has this accessory, is it really strong enough for a couple of guys to sit on? I'm thinking of getting it for the flat floor, but being able to sit on it is pretty cool.

If its a quality product the price point is not out of line. You have to remember parts through the dealer are never cheap and also we are paying with Monopoly money now days. If this was say a few hundred dollars it is likely to be total junk.

The Diabolical slide floor is less functional for me. The OEM offering has a higher weight capacity slideout and levels the floor (a feature that most of us desire). The Diabolical offering is simply a slide out tray for $850!

However, as i’m sure you’re aware, Diabolical is currently working on releasing a slideout drawer system that includes a lid that WILL level the floor! That’s the bad boy that i would be interested in (assuming that it allows access to the cubbies underneath and is under $1200).

Either way, one of these bad boys will be gracing my vehicle this summer!

I saw this in one of the Everglades models and when you pull the draw out gives you access was pretty nice
