Occam's Razor: Ford will simply use whatever green is already in their current color pallet.

Whatever colors Bronco gets will also have to be Ranger colors as they share the same paint facility.

Therefore: Guard Green. Which is essentially Magnetic silver with a hint of green, it's a pitiful color that is as much green as Cactus Gray is. Which is to say, not enough to classify it as anything outside of grayscale.

Here is guard green on a '15 Mustang. Is it green? No. It's just dark metallic gray. Hooray to those needing more grayscale colors aside from the 6 colors already offered!

IMHO, you're way off base. Boxwood would look sexy as hell on the new Bronco.

Your opinion, arbitrary measurement of an intangible concept, and strawman argument--see picture--are all noted.

Judging by Mike's latest tweet, Boxwood Green might be too close to the Filson concept which he said was not going to be the green.

I just don't want to be stuck with grandma green.

I'm late to another 10 page thread. Did we all vote on some sort of mint or shiny green? (y)

So, Marketing Nation, in their flannel wisdom, is pushing hard for a lime green like we want to copy Jeep? Eff that noise!

Replace AMB with Dark Highland Green.

Screw this Boxwood noise too...nobody wants diaper green on their vehicle. I think people are obsessed with the euphonious nostalgic name more than the actual color. Remember the stupid retro mint green on 2005 Mustangs? That went over well.
Yuck. Lime/neon Green is crap. ?

AMB -> DHG. Sure, why not. No dog in that fight.

Gotta disagree. A Boxwood/olive/military green would rock!

Those green Mustangs were all over the place. It was the CG of the early 2000’s. Popular for a few years, and then discarded and ignored.

This is one of the best colors Ford has, but you have to see it in person to really appreciate it.
Have seen it in person. I appreciate it possibly more if it were not simply dark metallic gray with a hint of green.

Which is to say, it's a VERY uninspiring color when the other options for the same vehicle are:

  1. Black
  2. Off black (AMB)
  3. White
  4. off white (CG)
  5. Iconic Silver
  6. Carbonized Gray

An argument for Guard Green is an argument that SEVEN out of 11 paint options need to be grayscale.... Because six grayscale colors wasn't enough variety to choose from?

For the record, there are THREE white paint options for F150, so please remember when you're pondering what Ford will roll out, that they are the folks who wanted THREE white paint options and a massive 11 out of 15 paint colors for F150 to be grayscale.

I'm having a difficult time figuring out why 80-something percent of all cars sold are grayscale today. Perhaps it's because nearly 80% of paint colors offered are grayscale?

You know, customers might actually order REAL colors for their cars again if the vehicles were offered in real colors. I know, I know, this is back assward logic.
