Ford Dashcam App

I came across this app that ties into Sync with your smartphone and enables you to save video from the built in cameras. Has anyone tried it?

That is for Sync 3 dash cams, not Sync 4 and 360! lol

idea is - interesting - but the view from the front camera is really not a 'dash cam' view, I think it points town too much for that to be useful. But could be interesting footage to add to a video of a trail run.
I'd be happy if there were just an option to plug a USB stick in and record all footage from all cameras and then see what parts might be useful.

(I'd also like to watch Netflix or youtube on the big screen when parked)

There’s a thread on how to watch Netflix or YouTube on the screen already. Max it will take up is 8” though

I bought this model shortly after taking delivery of Blonco. I did not install right away due to recovery from knee replacement. After a difficult install and multiple calls to Ford and Thinkware, I find that this model camera does not have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. You have to program the micro flash from a computer and then install in the camera. Very dissatisfied but too late to return.
I would find another model that plugs into the rear view mirror and has at least BT.
