Mercylion doesn't make an OEM-looking dashcam for the Bronco according to the website.

I’m finally getting my 2-door Wildtrak with Lux and some other packages, and I’m curious about dashcams. Ford has one on their website, but it doesn’t say much about the primary purpose of a dashcam: covering your ass in the event of an accident. It mentions things like “capture all the action,” but I’m not sure if that means it is primarily meant for offroading or something.

Does anyone have this installed? How well does it work, and how was installation?

Extended is my preference because it gives you the mount to replace your rear view, which will avoid the visors hitting it when opening and closing.

If you follow @bad.ass.bianca on IG, she just put hers in over the weekend and didn't have any special tools or knowledge prior. And I also cover the install end to end right here. If there's a step I missed or something you can't figure out, drop it in the YT video comments and I'll get a notification. Usually I'll reply within a few minutes.

Damn @RustysBronco those definitely level it up from OEM. Which model would you recommend and do you know if they have the ability to integrate with the stock rear camera?

No integration with the stock rear cam, though you can tap into the lead for the reverse lights and it'll give you parking assist lines.

The newer G900 Pro upgraded their rear cam, where night driving clarity used to be a sticking point, so that's not an issue anymore and either the Pro or Tripro is a good buy. I have a winch up front and with the extra length it put on my rig, I like having the front cam so I don't hit anything. Others have mounted under the rig for trail riding, so they can better gauge their clearance. With that said, the Tripro gives you some expanded capabilities, depending on where you mount.
