It's too bad with the 360 cameras it would have been a great opportunity for Ford to do a built in 24/7 monitoring system like Tesla has. Looping recording while driving, and motion or movement activated short clips when parked. I would have paid extra for that feature.

Is everyone planning on hardwiring the camera to the fuse box? I did notice the only 12v outlet is in the middle console and only thing under radio is USB port

I've used mirror taps with inline fuses in the past, have to see what's available on the Bronco though.

This seems the best way but my mirror doesn't have auto dim so not sure if I can use that or not. It has all the wires up there for emergency brake but don't want to mess with those lol

The one @pacman68 mentioned above seems like a good solution. Only thing is what happens if the camera gets dirty...

No worries… a quick touch and it turns into a regular mirror again.

I was hoping to take advantage of the ports on the front top dash. Also here is a 3rd party accessory that will allow you to mount to a rail. Not sure exactly how to mount to the rail. 3rd party rail for camera mount

Have you used one of these in the past or have one on your bronco? I’m looking for some feedback on the security side of things - how responsive is the g-shock trigger for recording, and does it provide notifications via cell network?

I'm using a Garmin mini and connected it to the auto-dimming mirror power with a dongar adapter. Highly recommend it, as it is easy to install and works perfectly when I start my bronco.

If you have auto dim mirror use the Dongar adapter https://dongar.tech/

I installed my Garmin with the adapter in less than 5 mins.
