You guys missed my /s. That means the post was sarcasm. I was joking as it's not in production for some time now. Lol
I got it too, that’s why I posted an 1/10th scale RC model ?

Manual all the way for me. I just wish it was offered with the 4 door base base.

THIS is what happens when I finally talked myself into 2.7/Auto. ??‍♂ Get your shit together, Ford. You’ve all been asked multiple times if the pricing on the 10a w/2.7 or Mid was correct and multiple times you’ve confirmed it.

I just came back to this thread to comment... How many of us are swinging back to manual? I'm back in the 2.3L/mt camp as of this morning. LOL. What a damn trip so far! I might even consider BaseManSquatch again, but I'm not sure that price tag is worth it now. Even if they discount the Sas Package with removing the auto trans. I'd assume they would, but we've been told 2.7L/auto was correct pricing and now we find out... nope.

I can do a 2.3/7mt BL without any frills for $1000 less than my bd 2.7/10a/mid now.
Just when I thought I was finally finished.... ?

I actually have that build plugged into my spreadsheet now too. ?‍♂

I guess I'm covering all the bases as this point.

The more I look at and have gotten past sticker shock, it checks all of the boxes for me, plus gives me the extra clearance I was looking for without Sasquatch or a leveling kit. Starting to make more sense, even if it did come about in a shitty way....

Yeah, but it comes back to the almighty $1 for me. I may just price myself out of this whole deal for a few years. I went from MY21 to waiting with the Granger October deal for MY22 and now I'm considering just pulling all the way out. I have until March, so plenty of time to figure this all out.

I’m right there with you. I’m pushing my limits just going to the Baselands for my budget, but it has all of the off road goodies I’m coveting so I wouldn’t need to go aftermarket for a while. Most definitely a winch once we figure out the mounting, and probably up to 34” tires, and that’s the extent of where I want to be. Just waiting to see what the real life final numbers are gonna be.

I don’t think it’s normal and OK, I think it’s a mess, but it’s not that unusual. I just did a quick comparison and to match (as close as I could) the equivalent BL to Jeep and BD to Jeep, the Bronco is still actually a bit less expensive. Now with the incentives already on Jeep, you can probably about match price, but Ford doesn’t want to give up any margin if they can avoid it, especially when they can’t meet demand on F150 and Ranger already. I am going to order what I want and if it gets to August or whenever it’s delivered and I don’t like it, oh well. Ford doesn’t owe me anything and I don’t owe Ford anything. No use getting upset over something I can’t control ?

Revisiting this after the corrections to B&P over the weekend. Anyone swing back to 2.3L/manual, from the 2.7L/auto, like I have? I've started building Broncos again with the 2.3L/manual. I'm getting back to my original manual is a must after a bit of sticker shock, plus I could buy an extended warranty for a fraction of the 2.7L/auto upgrade. That would cover the concerns I have with the 2.3L direct injection/catch can situation and first year of this manual tranny.

I never considered the 2.3 mt because my days of rowing gears is over. Plus, I really wanted the bigger engine, not the little hamster wheel motor. I blame @Gr8Hortoni for this whole fiasco. Suck a fat one Horton! :ROFLMAO:

I told you, it’s God.

Me: I plan on a bd manual with Mid.
God: nope, no mid manual for you. You don’t need heated seats.
Me: That’s harsh, but Ok. I’m gonna Finally bite the bullet and move up to 2.7/auto/Mid.
God: Sounds like a plan, let me add $1600 to that build.
Me: Wait, what? G, come on man. I’m at the top of my budget.
God: Well, then you need to budget better.
Me: Why you gotta be a douche, G?
God: Really, want me to keep going? Keep watching B&P, see what I do next.

God is working with Ford to keep me from my dream of heated seats. I know it. ?

Heated seats are “Godsend” to us mere mortals. Imagine on a late fall or early spring chilly morning, cruising around heat blasting and seats set on high with no top and no doors.
