Ford not honoring 220,000 points from email

I received this email from Ford and everyone is clueless! Has anyone received the full 220,000 points?

Yes, although it was a process.

My dealer reached out to Ford directly and had 20,000 points added to my FordPass account after I took delivery. Then when I activated the vehicle after having some trouble I got another 42,000 points added automatically.

I also received an email about 200,000 points in early July, I talked to FordPass' customer service line, got bounced around a bit, got a case opened after forwarding them the email and then the next day had 200,000 points added to my account.

I didn't order a black top, or a mod top, and I'm not sure how I got the 200k point email, but Ford honored it and sent me the points.

And IIRC you had to have ordered before March 19, 2021. But as @mjopp said at times they don't come easy. I had to call the FordPass people to get the 42K points added to my account when I bought my Ranger last year. It seem there is still a disconnect in the system somewhere.

I got 62,000 points total. Day 2 reservation, order conversion in Feb 2021, 2 door base. It was 42,000 for the purchase and 20,000 for the delays and such.

As far as I recall you only got that 200k if you switched to a soft top after having a hard top ordered and converted before march 2021.

Ford emails to the end consumer (AKA us). The main email was sent out on 3/26/21 as I recall.

The information was modified over a series of two or three emails, the final outcome was as follows;

If you ordered a mod top on or prior to 3/19/20 (different hardtop than an MIC) you would be given 200000 bonus Ford points if you changed it to an MIC or soft top and if you took delivery of a 2021 or 2022 MY. For 2023 when they claim the Mod tops are going to be available (yeah, right...), you would get nothing. (it is also the reason we are getting price protection until the end of 2023MY, the mod top delay)

This was put out by Ford, but I cannot find it anymore. The black painted modular top (MOD) was an option early on in the ordering process as a late MY21 delivery, but they then pushed the MOD top to MY23. This top is not the same as the Molded in Color top (MIC)

I believe that bonus was only for the Painted Mod top orders who switched out of them. MIC switch to soft top wasn't included in the 200,000 point promo as far as I can tell.

MIC top is not and has never been the same as black painted Mod top. 2 different animals and situations. If anyone switched from MIC to soft top it was out of the kindness of your heart and to get the Bronco sooner.

At least that's how I understand the whole situation.

On that note. Points are as follows

42000 for purchasing a Bronco
20000 if you reservation was before December 15, 2021
200000 if your original order was a MOD top before March 19, 2021

They ended up giving the full points to everyone who preordered before a certain date if I remember correctly. Many got the full 262,000 points even if they didn’t qualify for the original stipulations.
