Ford Pass App - Oil Life

Question for the experts…when I look at oil life in my ford pass app, the oil life says oil life remaining 100% but I see a red indicator on the graphic. What does the red mean exactly?

When it gets to the red, that means you need an oil change..

To tag on to this question. I just activated Ford pass and took delivery of the Bronco. Ford Pass is showing 0% oil life and there’s less than 50miles on the Bronco.
Does it take time to synch or update? Common glitch?

Have not seen that although I didn't look at my oil levels in the app immediately after getting it. I am at about 300 miles now.

I'm only at 1900 miles and shows 20% oil life remaining...which is a problem since I have a ~1600 mile road trip next weekend and no appointments available to get a change before the trip.

I would probably check to be safe, I just looked at mine and it says the same thing so I’m going to check it in the morning. I only have about 1k miles on it and it says 0 but my oil light hasn’t come on in the bronco itself

Mine randomly went to 0% today in the app, doesn't seem possible given I changed the oil and reset the minder ~1800mi ago...

Apparently this is becoming a wide spread glitch, apparently whenever the Ford pass app and or the dealer side servers lose connection to the Bronco it appears that it will report 0% oil life. I've been seeing this the entire time I have had my Bronco, from day 1 to now. If it refreshes and gets the data it reports correctly what the vehicle is reporting for oil life. If you scroll through the dash display menus you can see what the truck says and if it doesn't match the Fordpass app then there's a data processing error on their end.

When it has the correct data it matches the vehicle, but I've seen this purge a lot.

Was 30% on Monday when dealer performed my second service. Appr 15,000 miles and first change was at just under 8,000

I would not recommend waiting until 0% or the red zone although the algorithm is based on standard oil. Not full synthetic
