New tires will be MT Baja Boss AT 25x12.5-17.
Looking at new wheels to offset the weight of the tires. I really like the Ford Performance Method 703s. They are +35mm offset. With the 35x12.5-17, does anyone have any clearance or rubbing issues? I want to keep the tires in as much as possible because I think I am going to put the DV8 tube fender flares on later and they do not stick out as wide as the factory flares. The factory flares are 5” and the DV8 flares are 4” at the widest and taper in some. I do not want to go to 0 offset and push the tires out. That would throw to much mud and rocks outside of the fender flares if I put in the DV8s.

Pictures would be great ,

Thanks

I have had my FP 703's ordered since the first week in March. Still no ship date.

We have the 705s on our bronco Wildtrak, but they're the same offset as the Ford performance 703s. I went with the 705s because they're supposedly lighter than the 703s. Everything is tucked in nicely with the stock flares.

I have those tires on a ‘23 Badlands 2D, but with ADV fenders. No rubbing or clearance issues. They’re heavy tires, and my MPGs dipped a bit.

I have the 0-offset 703s on mine, with a 2.5" lift. Very little poke past the sasquatch fender flares.

Thanks for the information. The ride looks great.

I looked up the 705s and they are about 2 lbs lighter. I like that because that is the reason for looking at wheels, to offset the weight of the tires I'm going to.

The reason I was looking at the FP 703s is the hub centric wheels fit the bronco hubs without having to use wheel rings. Have you had any issue with using the wheel rings? I have never had to use them and did not like the idea of them. There seems to be a lot of them out there, so maybe I am overthinking it......

Did you use the plastic ones or the aluminum rings?

Thanks

Honestly, I don't know. I had discount tire mount the tires and install the wheels. Although, now that I think about it, I had the wheels off to do suspension work and don't remember seeing any rings.

Either way, I've got about 4000 miles on the wheels/tires now, including a couple off-road trips, with no issues.
