FordPass App remote start not working

I’m having the same issues with app. Says vehicle will shut off even though it was never started. I’ve tried using the app with vehicle parked at different locations, still not working.
It's just poor app functionality. Every time you use the app to start the vehicle, you have to close the app and restart it in order to for the app to be ready to start the Bronco again. If you don't shut the app down after starting the Bronco it just waits to shut off the engine and doesn't recognize that you shut off the engine using the Start Button in the vehicle.

So with an iphone, partially swipe up from the bottom of the screeen until the list of running apps disipays and then swipe up on the app you want to shut down.

We've noticed this too - must end the app and open it again every time we want to remote start it. Might be an iOS problem only, haven't tried from an Android. Good thing it's not a paid subscription like Subaru's or I might complain. At least we know how to overcome Ford's app dev shortcomings :)
