Anybody know if I can change the way the recirculate button works with Forscan? I want it to stay on when I turn it on. Right now, it randomly turns off - usually when I directly behind a diesel truck with his foot on the pedal!

Doubt it. For carbon monoxide safety, fresh air kicks on automatically.

The other five cars I own will all keep recirc on if I hold the button for a few seconds. Even my 2013 Mustang. Ford says the Bronco recirc is designed to cycle on and off for humidity reasons. News flash Ford… It’s alway humid on the gulf coast!

It’s definitely annoying. It barely stays on a minute at a time.

There are some setting under HVAC that may work, I'm waiting for someone else to experiment. ;)

I made a Forscan change and my recirc stays on indefinitely when I turn it on. I'll have to dig up the change I made. Stay tuned...

Edit: Maybe Mine stays on Recirc due to outside temp? I looked through all my HVAC settings and they are identical to my AsBuilt. Could be my mistake, i'll know once the temps drop here in a few months i guess. Sorry

BS.
If it were done properly for humidity reasons it should stay on when the AC is running.

Interesting. Maybe that's why mine has stayed on. I checked my HVAC settings vs my AsBuilt and they are the same. I know I was playing around with this before summer. Maybe I didn't actually get it working.
