Front camera replacement

Are than any guides on front camera
Replacement? My front camera is glitchy(same issue they recalled the rear camera for but the front isn’t covered). The ford place wants $1200 to replace it, claiming the camera
Itself is $650 and it takes 3 hours of labor.
I see the camera for sale online for $320. I’m wondering what the actual kind really is.

Super easy. Pull the front grille off, remove the back side of the grille that covers the camera and replace the camera.
There is a camera alignment procedure that needs to be done after replacement that will require FDRS or I think forscan can probably do it also, not sure.

3 hours is an absolute ridiculous quote.
MSRP on the camera is $435, so that's a crazy markup also.

I had no idea the front camera was that much! I thought it was like $50. I could have gotten it replaced under warranty but figured I’d do it myself when I got around to it

It used to be much cheaper, then all of a sudden one day it just skyrocketed in price

You’re right I remember those cheaper days. I’m gonna wait it out and enjoy the intermittent function lol

Curious if anyone knows what size screws are need on the back of the bracket? I relocated mine years ago, but now need to put it back I the factory spot.
