Front Driver Shock Leaking (base, non SAS)

9500 miles, purchased new February 2023. Base non-SAS. Front Driver shock leaking. Noticed a spot on the garage floor. Video of shock and boot area below. Circled the location of fall off drip but leaking above and flowing to this point before dripping to floor. Never off-road, no potholes, no curb hops, alignment is true. I’ve seen posts about the Bilsteins leaking but couldn’t find any on the basic struts. Top seal faulty? Service appointment this week. Passenger side is bone dry. Hoping this is covered under warranty. This is my eighth Ford and never had an issue with suspension this early in ownership.

Repaired under warranty. Took over a month to get the part in. They also checked/adjusted the alignment in my case. ( < 12000 miles/1 year)

Had this happen on my wife's Bronco Sport - they took care of it under warranty too. Not the same shocks exactly, just to say it happens sometimes.

Glad to see this - I am having this identical issue. 2024 BB 4D, 15k miles. Appointment set for next week. My pictures look just like yours. Thx for posting this, as I have something to show them in addition to my own vehicle.
