I just installed my ARB air compressor from Ford Performance. One of the final steps is running the red power wire from the switch to the fuse box. I chose to do this to save my Aux switches for other accessories; I have to open the hood to access the compressor so having the switch active there makes more sense anyway. The add-a-fuse installs easily enough, but prevents the fuse box lid from closing. So I bought the Mabett lid with the ingress for wire accessories. But that lid won’t close either. It seems the add a fuse is too tall to allow complete closing, with all three clips engaging. Any ideas? The area in question which prevents good closure. The photo is for reference; I know it’s a Micro II, and that’s what I’m using. Thanks!

Get a different add-a-tap? Or make double sure it’s seated down all the way.

I have one in there and the lid closes fine - can dig up the exact order if you need

Man that would be great! I’ve used two different brands with same result. Wondered about grinding down the pins on the add a tap…

Appreciate it. Did you use waterproof or regular?

I plugged into the camera - F22 I believe. It's near the center.

158 looks like it's near one of the clips, maybe that's why there are issues?

Can I plug into any 10 amp fuse? What are you running in F22?

Pretty much. Some will be on only when the truck is running, others may on all the time.

As to what I’m running - it’s trigger power for a relay block - about the same thing as you are doing for your compressor, only I have 6 switches relays in a box rather than just 1 relay (I do not have the factory switches)
