I took my daughters night fishing at San Luis Pass last night and there were a ton of Jeeps rolling through Galveston. Some were very nice, almost all topless and doors off, not a speck of sand on most of these road queens. While we're passing a long line of them a woman leans out of her driver seat with her hand raised loud and proud flipping us off. How trashy can you be!! My kids didn't know why so I explained the competition and told them Jeep owners with any class actually thank the Bronco for forcing Jeep to innovate.

Oh this isn't going to go political anytime soon!

She was only one of the many that you came across and that were cool, and it's become that way, a minority has become the loudest... And rudest.

Your last sentence is spot on. And most of the Jeepers we've come across on trail have been cool. Wait, all of them on the trail have been cool.

That's how I took it too. Had a fun conversation with a guy driving a decked out Gladiator shortly after that. From the looks of his tailgate rack he's a serious overlander.
