Confirming how the amp gets the remote power signal ? I know @RagnarKon used the send from the key 200.4 but without it what is taking the app to turn on and more importantly off? Thanks!

The amp has an option to remotely turn on when it gets a signal from the source. So no extra remote wire is needed.

Should be noted that most (but not all) amps have this capability. ☝

Kicker calls it “DC Offset” on the 500.1. The big reason why I did not use that feature and instead ran my own remote line is because I wanted a method to disable the subwoofer if I needed to. Running the 200.4 auto-setup, for example, requires you to disable the subwoofer.

Obliviously you can just disconnect the subwoofer amp, but once the trim panels are back in it’s going to be nearly impossible to reach the amp to unplug it. Using a remove line gives me an extremely easy way to disable the subwoofer if needed.

Since our amp is mounted on top of the box, it is easily accessed via the small removable access panel on top. Then just unplug the RCA.

What kind of lead times are you seeing? I ordered mine on 5/30, but haven’t received any other communication besides the order acknowledgment email.

We have an issue with the printing machine. So builds are going much slower than before. We do not have an ETA for your order yet.

We are also waiting on the arrival of 2 more machines, to really ramp up production.

Great!!
Standard automotive size, 1/4". Pick the color (red, blue, yellow) to match your wire size.

Ford Bronco GEARSHADE: Custom Made 8" Subwoofer Enclosure 20230728_123025

This is what persistence looks like! Dozens of failed prints, and this photo isn't even all of them. Countless hours and sleepless nights. NEVER GIVE UP!

Finally at a point with multiple printer modifications and printer settings to turn out good enclosures!

Thanks to everyone for coming along on the ride. :cool:

@GearShade ,
Just received my order Monday. Ordered the enclosure/sub. The sub that came in my order was the 4ohm. (48CWRT84). Is this going to change the sound? Using the Kicker 500.1 amp. Just wanted to make sure I don't need to exchange.

We sent an email out that we only had the 4ohm in stock.

It will work fine in this application. Make sure to wire the speaker in Parallel. So there will be a 2ohm load on the amp.
