Fun Fact: I live in DC and 99% of my daily driving is in a city. Sounds like I'm in the key demo for making sure my Bronco doesn't turn off Eco mode every time I get in the truck.

I feel like if economy matters to you this much, you got the wrong car.

My previous daily was a V8 M3 that got 9mpg/city. The Bronco was the perfect vehicle for me to double my mpg’s.

I cant figure out what the auto button with the 3 lights on it means... I love recirculated air though, extra filtered.

I live in Houston, and highway driving is still a thing. So much of driving around is still on highways at 70-75 mph. I haven't touched Eco mode. Now Sport...oh yeah baby!

As for AC recirc, I turned mine on and it's stayed on as far as I can tell. Not sure why it's turning off for OP.

Fellow eco mode driver here. I like the pedal feel and steering the most in eco.

Sport Mode = not driving a giant offroad box

Saying you might have gotten the wrong tool doesn’t mean I am excusing the tool’s design flaws.
