I sure as shit didn't. Was totally prepared for late '24 or mid '25, spending a minor fortune on nickel/dime nuisance breaks/replacements on my 2000 Ranger to limp it along for another couple years.

I hear you. I decided to buy a Badlands Sport from Zach rather than continuing to work on my 2006 Escape. The Badlands Sport has turned out to be much better than i was expecting so I'm going to keep both and use the Sport for my normal chasing around and keep the 2 door for the more fun tasks! In the end, it should work out fine.
