Hi there! If you'd like additional assistance with your concerns, please send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info.
If Ford was truly concerned about customer satisfaction, they would make this right for everyone. Including those who originally their Broncos with hardtops and then switched to soft on Ford's recommendation. At the original cost of $600. Bait & switch.

I had my cracked MIC Hardtop replaced by the dealer and now it creaks and groans whenever I am driving. Anyone else had this issue and is there a remedy?
Just got my replacement top 2 days ago (without any problems at all). No crackling or creeking yet but it has some sort of blue stain on one portion and the top portion is uneven and sitting toward the passenger side, leaving a lip on the driver side. Edges are pretty rough as well. The original top looked great (minus the crack, of course!). Hope getting it replaced a second time isn’t an issue.

Can you tell us what the torque is supposed to be on the Top hold down bolts?
And where did you find that?
For the wheel lugs the torque is in the owners manual, 100 Foot Pounds
I found no listed torque for the tops bolts BUT mine were barely snug so, using the tools supplied in the Bronco tool kit, 1/4 drive ratchet and proper size torx bit I put anywhere from 1/4 turn to 1.5 turns on each of the bolts for a consistent tightness utilizing my calibrated wrist from years of being an aircraft mechanic. And no, I am confident that I have not over torqued the Tops bolts. So I estimate the bolt torque to be: snug + 1/4 to 1/2 turns utilizing a 1/4 inch ratchet and proper bit.

Thanks! I did not see/find that! I do not have an actual manual, just the on line version and being an "Old Guy" I some times have trouble with the electronic versions.
I must chase down a print version.
But I can say from experience my tops bolts were a long way from 15 ft/lbs, very loose. I am confident that they are now within the torque spec.
