After a week of hitting the trails of Hollister Hills" trails and a couple days of Dunes down in Pismo Ca, The new engine that replaced my original catastrophically failed first engine is now having issues. It has been at the dealership sine 0810 hours this morning (02/28/22) and it is now 1540 (340pm) as I write this. The Service Department cant figure out what is causing the error code. See attached photo

On 12/23/21, my original engine blew at 2,034 miles, I just have barely over 1,000 miles on the new/replacement engine.

Oh man. That is a bummer to hear. Hopefully it is something very minor. Keep us posted.

That is the exactly one of the two messages I got when my engine broke. The other one had the same title but referred to an "engine air leak into the engine that should not be present"

The engine was rattling pretty bad as well.

It prompted the dealer to first ask if I had just refilled the car and what octane i had used....to be followed the next day by a: " Ford recommended a full engine replacement"

This reminds me of Garth Brooks song the Dance. ....

Looking back
On the memory of
The dance we shared
'Neath the stars above
For a moment
All the world was right
How could I have known
That you'd ever say goodbye

And now
I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Our lives
Are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss
The dance

Holding you
I held everything
For a moment
Wasn't I a king
But if I'd only known
How the king would fall
Hey who's to say
You know I might have changed it all

And now
I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end
The way it all would go
Our lives
Are better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss
The dance

Yes my life
It's better left to chance
I could have missed the pain
But I'd have had to miss
The dance

Can you post a picture of the sticker on the new engine? There was another replacement sticker posted on the other thread too.
