Good morning! I have been looking for resources on Bronco updates, tracking, etc., which led me to this forum.
I reserved my Bronco in July of 2020 but was bumped to the 2022 model (like a lot of us). I placed my 2022 order with my dealership (Sons FORD Auburn) on November 1, 2021. Received my order confirmation from Ford on December 29, 2021. Still waiting for a production date.
2022 Bronco Wildtrak™ 4 Door:
According to this article posted on Ford Authority if I removed the last 3 options I listed above (towing, Paint Protection, and MIC Hardtop), I stand a good chance of getting it a lot faster (possibly spring). With that said, the first two (Towing and Paint Protection) I am fine with utilizing aftermarket options but I really want a MIC Hardtop.
Question - if I switched to a soft-top model what does - Fully Prepped for MIC roofs really mean? And does the MIC roof come with a cost or is it free? My dealer has not been able to answer these questions.
Thanks in advance and looking forward to connecting with everyone and seeing the new Bronco pictures roll in!
