Hello all seeking some help from the community. I just had my factory B&O system upgraded by a professional shop and I am disappointed, will be taking it back on Monday to have it looked at but hoping folks here may have some thoughts on what could be wrong. At high volumes the system sounds terrific, its loud and clean, but at low volumes there is an overwhelmingly pronounced hissing noise it is constant in the front pods and seems to pulse out of the back speakers. You have to crank up the music to drown out the hissing ...I am frustrated... Anyone have any thoughts on what can be causing this? The factory AMP and Sub have been removed, my shop installed the PAC AP4-FD31, a Kicker PXA4004 to power the front Kicker QS component speakers and the rear Focal ACX165 Pod speakers. They also installed the Kicker PXA 600.1 Amp to power my downfiring 12” kicker sub enclosure. Not sure this has any bearing on anything but based on the type of install the center dash speaker was intentionally disabled (all nav and systems sound work fine), but oddly when you go into sound settings it shows that the system is locked on surround mode, I would have thought it would have been locked on Stereo. I am thinking there is something that needs to be adjusted in the PAC settings, but I am just guessing at this point. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
