Hey everyone I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find the answer I’m looking for. I have a 2023 with the B&O system. I’m just wanting to keep the factory sub intact add an additional amp and sub. Can I steal the high level output from the B&O sub to run it to an additional amp? If so can you show me what wire I need to tap into? I’ll be using posi-taps. I included a pic of my Bronco for attention. Thank you

If you pull the rear cargo panel off to look at it - the B&O amp is bolted right onto the subwoofer, and the 4 wires (dual voice coil speaker) going to the sub are the ones you’d tap into. Can’t really miss them.

Also - the obligatory “there are better ways to do this” recommendation too, but a lot depends on your budget.

What would you recommend?

For anything dealing with the B&O system, the default first answer is usually go look at @mObridge.

You don't have to use that stuff, and what you are wanting to do will work, but I think it'll probably take more hardware than you have planned right now, and the B&O system has a lot of quirks with it that makes it just different enough from standard audio that there is usually a cleaner way to do whatever it is you would have done with a standard stereo install.

MoBridge is AWESOME!
I wish I could say the same. I installed the MoBridge setup and have had nothing but issues with it. For the life of me I cannot get it tuned with my JL Audio C2's and Stealthbox. I have tried just about everything. It sounds great on one song, then the next song sounds like crap. I am sure that some people who are more of an audiophile than I am can get them dialed in, but for me, I am about to scrap it.

For the record, I'm not scraping it because it's not working. I'm scraping it because it's not really as plug-and-play as advertised.

Shoot me a message when you get a chance and we will have a call to get it dialed in. I'm confident after a phone call and a tuning session we will get it where it needs to be

Fraser will take care of you...I'm currently using his C2 tune with my Hertz Centro/JL Modded STOCK Sub Enclosure...it ROCKS! (I couldn't be happier)

I have a 23 Bronco with the B&O system. What I did was to add an audio control LC7i, which will handle up to 400 watts going in and reduce to low frequency ( RCA ) outputs

I just added a Kenwood XR1001.1 previously used in my Mustang using B&O out put to sub as high level input. The amp auto sums the signal flattening it and eliminating bass roll off plus turns on automatically with the signal works like a dream on a loaded hertz enclosure I got a crazy deal on other wise I would have gotten an 8" designed for ported enclosure and rated for 1000W or a loaded enclosure 8-10" in the $500 range.

I checked the price for the amp you are using, and it is 700 dollars.

You can find way better prices elsewhere as well as 1000W Mon amps that handle high level and sum the signal check used and ask over at diymobileaudio.....

I got mine loose open box for $250 or so at a big box couple years ago.

You can also get a simple loc that sums for $200 or so then plug in 1000W mono amp that can be had for as low as $150
