Home made custom wheel center caps

I found these Bronco center cap emblems on Etsy. They have just about any car or truck center cap imaginable. They also can make them in many different diameters to fit your center caps. I decided to paint my white Fifteen52 Analog HD center caps black and insert these emblems. Easy to do and it makes the Fifteen52's look even more retro.

For my 16" steel wheels, I was searching and searching for a traditional OEM looking cap - then I realized I cant add caps to the steel wheels....

I may have to copy you with mine! Good idea! What was the hole in the center cap for? Did you just use the adhesive that came on the center cap overlay?

I drilled the hole in the center cap to get them off the wheel. (Similar to what Porsche does with their center caps). I could not get them off of the Fifteen52 without possibly chipping the powder coating so I drilled the hole and used an L-shaped tool and off they came. Now, they'll stay put for good. Adhesive was on the back of the emblems. They're stuck on very well. Great product.

How did the tire shop mount and balance your tires on the wheels? The center cap has to be removed for them to install the tires.

Couldn't you just remove the tire and wheel and push the center cap out? No drilling.

Maybe even a trim tool to remove center cap.

Yes, of course. The tires were mounted before center caps were put on. Once the caps were on the wheels I could not get them off. Tried everything, including trim tool. They need to be pushed out from behind but I did not feel like taking wheels off. Holes are covered by emblems and will never be an issue.
