I thought so too, just hoped someone has one and could review it.

I enjoy mine. It’s silly but it makes me smile every time I see it when I remote start the truck. Reminds me of Kitt from Night Rider. I would also recommend this adapter from SPV to tap in to instead of damaging the factory wiring. I tapped directly into the same wire path as though there wasn’t an adaptor on the adaptor wire and saved the extra pigtail for other needs. Hope that makes sense. Their whole wiring system/coccept is fantastic. Not required but I try to avoid violating any wiring on this truck. It’s very sensitive electronically lol. Also, the fit isn’t perfect but I’m pretty detail orientated so I’m likely the only one that notices.

Here’s the headlight harness:

There is a NAPA parts store near me and I ordered the light bar. Thank you for letting me know about the harness adaptor.

I did order wiring up to the top of the dash where the sunglasses holder should be when I ordered our Bronco with OEM upfitter switches. Doesn't that have a wiring harness so that I don't need the adapter? I don't really understand electrical parts in cars. But I did tell them I wanted that. Since I had modular bumper I wanted to add fog lights and maybe something else down the road.

I hated mine. Avs was great to deal with, but the pro version light bar doesn't stay flush with the curvature of the shield so it pops up on the ends.. and it disrupts airflow so if you have a soft top causes annoying tapping. I returned mine the day after installation.

Really, I am bummed, I do have a soft top. I guess I will have to cancel my order. I can't have that. We are leaving for a five week trip out West and that would drive me crazy.

Yeah it was annoying. I also have a mesh shade top and it made it flap like crazy anything over 30-35 (like it was going to tear off). I can normally drive highway speeds without much issue so I could tell how much air disturbance it was causing. It's designed for the light mounting, not proper airflow directing like the one you can get from Ford so it makes sense. Some people don't have any issues but it drove me crazy.

We are getting a mesh top also, I guess that seals it.

I think I will get the white one without the lights
That should be fine right? Ford’s doesn't come in white.

Question should I think about getting a low profile because of the soft top, or is the regular deflector fine?

Thanks for your help.

I’m not trying to be a dick, but if I understand your question correctly, you might want to seek some help installing this. The light will include instructions. This particular light won’t be hooked into your upfitter system. It taps into both the power for your headlights and also the blinker wire (at the actual light locations) so it can function correctly. You’ll tap into the DRL power on the drivers side and the blinker wire on both the drivers and passenger side. It comes with the necessary wiring and wire taps.

There’s a number of threads already in it. Here’s one to get you started:

Good luck!

No your not, I really don't understand it and any help I can get I will be appreciative. You're right I don't think I want to mess with the electrical in my new vehicle. I will get professionals to take care of any electrical upgrade that I add to the Bronco. I have changed my mind thank you so much for all your help. That's why I come to the forums when I need answers.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to discourage anyone from learning and being self reliant. When I was younger, I couldn’t afford to pay for help so I learned to figure things out. Not always on the first try or without additional cost due to f-ups. But I always learned something. Now that I’m in a place in life where I can afford to hire help, but more times than not I’m frustrated by the lack of professionalism or expertise when I do, so I just do it myself. There’s little worse than paying a premium for ā€œprofessionalā€ help and getting shit work. It’s SOOO much easier now to find information with the internet/YouTube. Not to mention the specialty tools and hardware available to make the job easier/better. Used to be you had to know a secret handshake or have a connection to find stuff. Now it’s a simple internet search. NONE of this is rocket science. What one man can do, another man can do. It just takes some initiative, cognition, and time. It’s up to you to decide wether the juice is worth the squeeze:).

Plus, thereā€˜s usually great folks on here willing to help those who are trying to help themselves and find themselves in a pickle.

I get it when I was younger I did too. I had a Mustang and when something went wrong I knew what to do through necessity I learned. But the cars today are too complex for me. You're right about one thing, trying to find someone that knows what they are doing and that has a good work ethic is hard to.
