I used to collect Hot Wheels in the late 90's to around 2001. They usually start showing up in some states near the coast and then take time to start showing up in other places. They will show up and at first will be snached up by collectors and scalpers. Patience will pay off and you will find one for a buck.

Edit: My toys are way more fun and expensive now.

We were able to snipe one from Target this week! There was a fresh box of Hotwheels cars that wasn't fully put on display yet, and we were able to find one.

So they're getting out there.
